Existing heavy composite gates proved to much for the motors installed by the builders. We replaced with Nice L Fab 24 volt automation along with all of the wiring. The existing magnetic lock in the centre was retained and the addition of 180 degree units in the motors provide a nice wide opening.

Large Single Leaf Aluminium Gate

This large aluminium vertical style gate was finished in a standard textured black coating. Being 3.5m wide it was installed on galvanised steel support post's a Nice Big Fab heavy duty motor and to aid closing a magnetic lock was also fitted. Operation is by remote control handsets on a press to open press to close basis.

Working with a local fabricator we installed our motors and controls to these steel gates. Access is provided by Intratone key fobs which can be added and deleted remotely if any are mislaid. Egress is by AES exit loop or again using the keyfob.

Bespoke Curved Aluminium Gates

Existing 6m wide timber gates relocated to new brick piers at the front of the property. Due to the size Nice Big Fab underground motors are used and coupled up with dual electromagnetic locks in the centre to ensure closure. New in line hinges and shoes had to be installed onto the gates and the pivot points had to be mounted to the internal steel in the brick piers with threaded rod.

Powder coated to complement the house windows these aluminium gates have been designed with a 38mm open infill to the top two thirds and a 65mm solid infill to the lower third. A 50mm packer was required to one side due to drive levels before being mounted to Nice L Fab underground motors. Simple remote control operation with automatic closure and the convenience of a AES E Loop to detect vehicle mass and open the gates for exit.

Vehicle impact had damaged the existing gate motors so we replaced them with Nice Toona 24volt Rams. The main control unit was located in the building basement and the existing wiring was replaced as it was totally inadequate for the original and the new install. Safety edges, safety photo cells and a flashing light completed the install.

This customer was frustrated by inconsiderate people using his driveway as a turning circle so approached ourselves for a solution. A pair of motorised gates with matching post's were installed along with an AES Dect intercom for visitors to buzz for driveway access. A pedestrian gate was also installed with manual lock for deliveries.

Traditional style steel gates installed to this lovely caravan site in Chester provide a secure and attractive alternative to the previous galvanised gate. Working closely with a local steel fabricator RES Ltd we installed Nice 24volt L-Fab underground motors to these custom built gates. A 180 degree mechanism was installed to one leaf to open wider than normal and when closed security was enhanced by the installation of a Locinox electromagnetic drop bolt. Hikvision IP intercom was also installed to provide video and audio communication from the gate to the household as well as mobile phones.

Customer had another company attend the gate installation, they replaced the isolation point with a junction box in an attempt to get the motors working. This didn't work so they then disappeared. We replaced the motors with Nice Hopp 24 volt automation, new wiring throughout, safety photo cells and installed a rotary isolation point. As you can see from the motor picture nature has tried to make a home.

Premade aluminium Bell Curve top swing gates in anthracite finish installed in Whitby near Chester.

The Customer was advised to increase the width of the gate to maximise the drive through width. As per the picture below the old wrought iron gate was removed along with the post passing through the Indian stone flag. A new post was installed and the existing wooden fence and concrete bottom panel were trimmed to meet the new aluminium post as well as a new Indian stone flag to replace the one with a whole in it.

As the gates are manual with a handle and lock we also installed lockable Locinox drop bolts to the inside face to provide a positive and secure closed position.

The sliding gate is mounted on a steel box section excavated into the ground to provide a long lasting support that is not susceptible to ground movement.
